Exchange students can apply for accommodation in one of the student halls of student services AKAFÖ. The information on accommodation will be sent after the end of application period.

During your stay you will have to make various transfers and payments (e.g. rent, insurance). Bank transfers from your bank account from your home country to Germany can be expensive, so we recommend you to check your bank’s terms and conditions in your home country before you leave. It may be advantageous for you to open a german bank account for the duration of your stay.

As a rule, a german bank account for students is free of charge.

Exchange students can take a free German course during the semester (both winter and summer semester).
