Research team and project partners
The preliminary study is being carried out by Bochum University of Applied Sciences and the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. Cooperation partners are the city of Bergkamen, the economic development agencies for the districts of Unna and Bergkamen and the Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The project sponsor is the Arnsberg district government.
The preliminary study on the basic concept is being supported with third-party funds as part of the "Transformation Booster" funding measure of the MWIKE (Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy) for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
