BObby Sharing
Urban. Smart. Sustainable.
At BObby, our mission is to contribute to more sustainable mobility worldwide. To achieve this goal, we research and develop alternative solutions to individual car use. In 2018, we launched our project study, focusing on the sustainability assessment of sharing services using light electric vehicles in the Ruhr region, with special emphasis on energy supply concepts. We follow the Problem-Based Learning approach, meaning that we work in independent groups to tackle challenges, define solutions, and test them in practice. Based on our research findings, we have developed, implemented, and continuously optimized various concepts. On the Bochum University of Applied Sciences campus, we have tested a solar charging station and a battery swapping station as part of our ongoing efforts to create practical, sustainable mobility solutions.
