BO Academy – Learning. Teaching. Further education.
The BO Academy covers the areas of learning and teaching and further education and was created at the beginning of 2025 through the merger of the teaching and learning centre and the further education department of the Bochum Health University of Applied Sciences with the Institute for Academic Success and Didactics of the Bochum University of Applied Sciences.
At the BO Academy, we offer courses to strengthen interdisciplinary skills and courses for further academic qualification:
- Extracurricular orientation, education and support courses for students before they start their studies, during the introductory phase and during their studies;
- Curricular qualification and education courses for students in the introductory phase and during their studies;
- support, further training and exchange opportunities for teachers in university teaching methods;
- scientific further education opportunities for professionals, organisations and interested parties.
As a central service-oriented facility of the Bochum University of Applied Sciences, we combine our own offers for learning, teaching and further education with those of our cooperation partners on our platform.
